Biography


     Jorge Luis Lopez, Esq., established his practice in 1987, representing Municipal Governments, Florida 100 and Fortune 500 Companies before federal, state and local governments. He is recognized as one of the top lawyers in the South Florida Legal Guide; honored by his peers as a Super Lawyer and Legal Elite. He holds a BA, magna cum laude, and an MBA from St. Thomas University; Juris Doctor, cum laude, from The University of Miami, School of Law. He is a member of Order of the Barristers, Iron Arrow, Society Bar and Gavel, Society of Wig and Robe and was Editor-in-Chief 1986-87, Inter-American Law Review. Mr. Lopez's community and volunteer involvement includes: founding member and chair of the Parks Foundation, member of the City of Miami Zoning Board; Vice Chair of the Dade Community Foundation, member of the Miami Dade County Charter Review Task Force and past chair of the Miami Dade United Way Governmental Relations Committee.
